Of course he will, and to a five minute standing ovation. Anyone think for a second Colbert would have won an Emmy last week if his show had not been canceled? His show hadn’t won in eleven years. (Not count one off single episode specials.)

Disney’s Bob Iger and Dana Walden wanted to know how Kimmel was going to address the situation. Sources say he planned to defend what he said rather than “kowtowing” to the outrage. Disney thought that would fan the flames.
More than that; he’s already won next year’s Emmy.
