You’re forgetting that President Trump appointed a new sheriff to correct that.

We will see. Elsewhere, Canada’s unemployment rate rose to 7.1%. The highest since 2016.

Good thing we are deporting more illegal aliens since they wonโ€™t have any work to do

""Federal government employment continued to decline in August (-15,000) and is down by 97,000 since reaching a peak in January. โ€œ

But since social services hiring is up by a similar that amount, looks like state and local governments may be going on a hiring spree...""

Have Republicans/ Conservatives deluded themselves since WW2? Is the government the economy and the economy is the government?

With 1.5 million illegal aliens leaving the country so far, and leaving the labor market, of course payroll numbers will be depressed.

And it will take time to fix it.

I dunno. The BLS report said nothing about it.

But if we were in a robust hiring economy, those jobs would be filled in a flash by documented workers.

"The U.S. lost 12,000 manufacturing jobs in August, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics"

Maybe you should actually read what you are posting. Shameless lying by omission on your part.

Maybe you should try being intellectually honest and admit that a small number of lost jobs. Trying to mislead that losing the Manufacturing jobs was a big issue, when it is not, was lying by omission.,

Duh. It’s the unofficial end of summer. Kids go back to school.

4th quarter normally isn’t a hiring period other than the short term, part time seasonal work.
