It’s Louisiana.
“Throw me something Mister!”
Well played
At least it wasn’t the red beans and rice. I am driving through there tomorrow. I think I’ll mosey on down the road.
Indeed. That’s a waste of damned fine chicken. The chicken sandwich wars are long over, but I thought Popeyes was hands down the best. The red beans and rice are also quite nice
When I was a youth I lived on the Intracostal Canal in Larose Louisiana. When the tugboats came by I would holler ““Throw me something Mister!” and they often did. Mostly oranges as they throw longer distance. Sometimes they fell short. No problem, I could swim. My youth was a paradise of innocence and hunting and boating and fishing in the swamp. If you do not know the swamp it can kill you. My neighbor Mr. Alicie Melacon an older gentleman taught me about the swamp. He was not an educated man but knew the swamp. He was intelligent. We ate what we caught or killed. Alligator is not bad but you need to cook the hell our of it as it is a tough meat.
I miss those days of innocence.
