I know a lot of folks on this forum were lukewarm to Rick Santorum from PA, but as far back as the early to mid 90s he was a voice crying out in the wilderness about this sort of thing, and where it would lead.

I have to be honest with you I don’t remember him saying that but I do remember talk of IVF in the 90’s. I never saw this coming. In my small box-in brain I thought it would just be married couples who couldn’t have kid and found adoption hard (which it is) doing this.

I should have figured this one out but I didn’t stop to think it through. I also didn’t stop to think as to why so many couples were infertile? Now I know. Abortion, more so multiples ones, tends to do that to a woman.

I never thought of homosexual couples even wanting children. They always seemed to me as the type that enjoyed a childfree lifestyle. How do you take kids to places most gays go to? Well now days they do but back then it was unheard of and even in the 90’s would not have been tolerated.
