This “history professor” needs a bit more education and to cleanse his mind of brainwashing.
The NAZIs were not “far right” as leftists and communists continue to propagandize.
They were the national Socialists. And just about every point on their political and economic agenda has been adopted by the far left of the DemCom party in America.
NAZIs are FAR LEFT. They are totalitarians, socialists, hate private enterprise, support cradle-to-grave state-sponsored financing for anything that benefits the state (esp. education), hate religion.
Otto von Bismarck started this platform because he saw the rise of Marxism and wanted those in his country who were starting to court Marx’s ideas to have a German, nationalist version of it to adopt.
NAZI-ism was actually intended to be more local/national. They opposed Bolshevism because Bolshevism wanted global control, and that would mean controlling Germany.
But the two ideologies are very much in alignment.
And here we are still fighting both versions of that Statism as the WEF (the true new NAZIs) and other global Corporatists and the Bolsheviks use freedom-loving people as their rope in their continuing tug-of-war.
Nazis vs. Antifa commies in Germany was just a turf war. They’re all leftist monsters at the end of the day.
