My sons have had FOID cards, hunter safety classes, and hunting licenses since they were young.
So now, they are allowed to be in possession of a firearm when hunting.
Hell, I got scolded by a DNR agent who climbed up into our tree stand and asked for my 12 year old son's FOID card. I said he was directly under my supervision. The game warden said he should have one.
When we are at the Deer Camp, their guns are besides their beds, or in a camper, or in a case next to them at 5:00 am when headed out hunting.
Does this new law mean you have to keep firearms locked in a safe when in your car, in a camper, or in a tree stand or hunting blind.
