Conversations with the Master Forecaster This book is unlike anything you’ve read before. It’s not another theory — it’s a documented track record of how Martin saw what no one else did:
✅ Sovereign debt implosions ✅ War cycles and geopolitical shifts ✅ The coming collapse of trust in governments ✅ The timeline to 2032 — and what it means for you
Written by longtime interviewer Kerry Lutz, this book is based on over a decade of never-before-published insights, straight from Martin’s most powerful moments on air.
Whether you’re an investor, thinker, or someone simply seeking truth in an age of lies, this is your handbook for what’s next

A lot of hot air here. Big smokescreen!
Your quoted writ of certiorari is meaningless in the context. Martin Armstrong was guilty of his crimes.
Read here:
Certiorari "The granting of a writ does not necessarily mean that the Supreme Court disagrees with the decision of the lower court. Granting a writ of certiorari means merely that at least four of the justices have determined that the circumstances described in the petition are sufficient to warrant review by the Court."

"Watching his Socrates ECM cycle has done very, very well for me, for two decades" Including, apparently, the ten years he was in prison and not publishing forecasts. Because people incarcerated in Federal prison are not allowed to write and publish newsletters like that. Armstrong invented Socrates after he got out and backdated it and created a back story for it resembling the Master Control Program from TRON. Real world reality doesn't matter as much here as it used to. So in other words, the claim he was watching this for the last 20 years is not even possible?

No. To be honest. I just got some snacks because this really intrigues me. I look at the nuances in the discussion because I guess some people want to know what EXACTLY happened.
We hopefully all know that Armstrong has created a narrative that makes him look like a hero and victim of the justice system at the same time. This narrative is the story line of his propaganda movie "The Forecaster".
Part of that narrative is that Armstrong is a computer programmer and wrote his Socrates program himself. That is impossible because he was a coin dealer turned newsletter writer turned Hedge Fund Manager / Ponzi Scheme operator.
But that computer program existed before his incarceration although his story that the Government wanted the source code of it is bogus. The prosecuters wanted computer files that would help reveal the whereabouts of the $15 million in hidden assets.
So who wrote that program? From Armstrong's blog we can conclude that it was developed in BASIC and assembler on the first model IBM PC. I had one of those and I had BASIC and assembler. That was in the mid 1980s.
Incidentally, Armstrong claimed that his Socrates made accurate forecasts (never wrong) since the mid 1980s. He also wrote about his attempt to get "him" (Socrates) running again in his first blog entries after getting out of jail.
It is extremely interesting to note that the appearance and the functionality of the desktop version of his program never changed even once since he first showed it.
This lets me conclude that he doesn't have the source code of it any more. Some bugs were never fixed. That conclusion is consistent with his claim that the web front end plugs into it, and that he showed us a video of some DOS CMD output of the execution of it.

It would be consistent with the big picture. Please let me explain.
To understand this rather fascinating saga, it really helps to read his
indictment. A long story of concealment and intrigue. At the center of which are Armstrong's trading losses. He would have traded based on his freshly acquired trading program that he now calls Socrates.
After getting out of jail, he promised
"The Revenge Of Martin Armstrong" Mix that with delta7 bragging about the sheer number of Armstrong's interviews. These interviews take time. And Armstrong does more than those. He has to maintain his marketing machine across multiple social media platforms on most of which he has multiple accounts each. He has helpers who copy his media files to multiple channels even within the same platform.
100% marketing activity. No analysis. Watch his interviews where he mostly sidesteps the questions and repeats his stories of past fictional glory - all lies.
In this operating mode, he can't afford to have someone other than himself to walk the tightrope. With so many lies to manage, in such a prominent role as a long time member of Free Republic, I wouldn't know who could do it for him. If I was him, and if I was as broke as he is, I wouldn't trust anyone else.
But does it really matter? May be, may be not. What we really DO see here is that ominous cooperation between these actors and what they try to achieve, based on lies.
Look at Kerry Lutz. He tries to sell his book which is no more than a copy of computer-generated transcripts of his Armstrong interviews. You are supposed to buy that self-promotion, right? Armstrong has that book on his blog page. This article is a copy of that blog page. What does this all tell you?

So in other words, the claim he was watching this for the last 20 years is not even possible? I need to correct my statement a little - which is still largely correct.
Martin Armstrong went to prison in 2000 and got out in 2011. In 2009, he started a newsletter while in prison which he was able to smuggle out. For the first nine years of his incarceration, he did not publish a newsletter.
The Federal bureau of prisons limits prisoner's access to publication and information. The idea he was using his system, market data, and computers to predict events while he was in prison and publishing them is not possible. At best all he had were newspapers in the prison library. He was not publishing anything that could make his situation worse.
His old site is here https://web.archive.org/web/20250000000000*/http://martinarmstrong.org/, up to 2011/2012 is old work is easily found. If it sounds familiar to what he's been saying it is. A shot gun blast of long term predictions that are vague and all of the place, and short term 100% accurate predictions... conveniently made shortly after the fact.
The claim that he was using his Socrates computer system, that started in 2014/15. He's tried to backdate much of it to the 1980s.
His terms of his release are a ban on his acting with or as a financial advisor, which he is in violation by offering those services. The claim that Socrates is a vast global AI economic tracking system, is completely fraudulent. My posts here and here go into how Armstrong claimed his Socrates global AI was on paid timeshares from the Department of Energy Sequoia petaflop processing supercomputer.
It should not be necessary to explain that the DOE is not going to give a convicted fraudster, banned from financial advising, access to a brand new, national nuclear research, top secret, assignments supercomputer. Sequoia was disassembled in 2020.
This raises the question, if it takes a one of the top performing petaflop capable super computers to run Socrates, and that computer system no no longer exists, what is it run now? It is not PCs in Armstrong's office.

First, it is run on the old DOS operating system. Armstrong showed us evidence of that with a picture of his Socrates (forecast array) on his computer. There, Socrates runs in DOSBox 0.74 (shown in the window title bar) which emulates DOS on newer desktop operating systems including Mac OS and Windows.
Second, on virtual server computers such as provided by Amazon, it also runs as a DOS process, without the graphics.
That means that Armstrong never needed a powerful computer to run that lightweight program. And he never needed to port it to a modern computer platform.
His claims of porting that old program are not supported by any evidence whatsoever.
However, the fact that he was in possession of a program (not source code) based on such old technology dating back to before his prison time makes it clear that this program was developed for him in the 1980s. Back then, he believed that he could make a fortune with it, using at least part of it exclusively for his own purposes.

“IBTG, as more movies and interviews are being made about Armstrong’s Socrates computer, the more smear campaigns.”
How much did Armstrong pay for his revisionist moviè?

“but his Socrates computer is legend in the financial markets.”
He failed to predict his three bankrupsies.
He failed to predict his losing $700 million of his clients’funds.
He failed to predict he would spend eleven years in the federal pen.
In 2014 he predicted gold would soar to $5,000 in 2015. In 2014 he predicted that there would be a world financial collapse would occur in 2015.
In 2018, warned to get out of BitCoin at $5 and gold at $1,500. July 2024 he predicted US cIvil unrest/WAR to happen just before the 2024 elections.
November 2024 he predicted a US civil war would happen the week of Trump’s inauguration with the US breaking up into four new countries in 2026.
December 2024 he said via Socrates that the 2024 elections would be the last in the US.
January 2025 he predicted US civil unrest on May 7. June, 2025: The EU is DONE – Ukraine Will Be Wiped off Map

No doubt about it.
Why is this lying, scamming ex-con allowed to lie and solicit on this site?
Apparently he finds enough suckers to pay to keep from getting zotted.
Some one even brings out several enforcers to silence me with there goofy trolling.

My post was about what Armstrong said in his own words about Socrates, and linked to two of my previous posts on it to back it up. Those posts link to this page from Armstrong Economics,
"Institutional Time Share" (which is at archive.is and archive.org), from October 2012, which says this:
"We are porting all systems to the IBM Sequoia, which is the fastest Supercomputer in the world with 16 thousand trillion calculations per second monitoring everything that beats and moves worldwide. You can put your entire portfolio into the system and it will monitor everything far more intensely than any human staff are even capable of accomplishing and without the risk of pure opinion."
Those are Armstrong's own words, not mine. I have already explained what the Sequoia computer was. If his own words and a few minutes looking things up are not good enough to show Armstrong makes a three-dollar-bill look honest, I don't know what else I can say.
