Grow up. Trump is dealing with reality. I said I would support him if he decided to sync Ukraine into the ocean and I will support him no matter what decision he makes. He can’t possibly let Putin conquer Ukraine and he can’t abandon Europe. He tried to act as a neutral peace broker he even gave Ukraine an incredibly hard time but Russia is just trying to take advantage of that. Very sad but the only good thing is that Russia hasn’t been able to conquer Ukraine in over 3 years so probably they can be held back.
For those of you that like to think Russia is a unicorn or pony and I’m not addressing that to randfan, but there is a lot of chatter that Putin is preparing to go into the Baltic countries.
Sympathy is fine but involving the US isn’t.
I don't believe for a second that he'd agree to spend anymore on arming Ukraine beyond what was authorized under Biden.
And, I have no doubt that it is true that our own stockpiles are so low, we can't afford to give Ukraine certain arms.
Trump is giving Putin the most valuable thing: time. He will allow Putin to take Ukraine because they both have had the same common enemy. So in the meantime, he says this, and he says that, and the Russians keep winning and taking territory.
Putin and Zelenskyy locked into a power play not good for both or countries.

The Dems/Biden caused this by urging NATO to accept Ukraine.
Let’s not forget how the Rats actively sabotaged Trump’s planned rare-earth minerals offer - by meeting with Zelensky just prior to the meeting and psyching him up to push back on Trump in that very public WH meeting...
