No, the Venezuela gang is back in Aurora, though the local sheriff says he’s going after them. I’m far, far from there. This was FBI, so not Dems either. The perp was already arrested and charged by local police recently though. I think he’s in jail. I’m thinking the young girl must have talked, how else would he get caught?

Way back in the mid-80’s I was Framing new homes in Austin, TX and Our Crew was all Whiteboys and Bikers. We worked with Mexican in the same area.
We would finish Our house. That consisted of Stick Framing, cut in roof or sometimes pre-made Trusses, siding, decking roof, install windows w/trim and entry doors. Occasionally we would get a 2 story house.
We would get a Punch-out list to “fix” something that the Stupidintendant didn’t like. Trivial stuff like an extra nail or 2 in siding that was done by code- every 6” on seams and 8” in the middle on each stud.
Meanwhile the Mexican crews would “make” a Double Beam to support the 2nd floor by using 1 2x12x18 and then nailing a bunch of short scrap 2x4 or 2x6 like ranging from 10” to 3’ long and things like that !!!The Stupidintendant wouldn’t do anything about that !!!!!!

I was paying $3000 a month for a 7.5 ton AWD forklift for three months longer than it was actually needed. Contractor never moved materials off the pasture - ruined $9000 worth of PERGO flooring from ground vapor/leakage - buttload of other stuff he didnāt do either BUT, I have photos (and a neighbor has video from his drone hobby) of the Watermelons (how āSiriā interprets āGuatemalanā in voice to text) of the crew not only using the forklift for getting roofing materials atop the roof 2+ stories high but ALSO putting sheets of OSB flooring on the forks and using it for a work platform with several guys standing on it. No safety belts, rails, nothing. I wrote that up in a complaint against the a-hole contractor to the state licensing office - they told me to see a lawyer. Then I realized this is, after all, by God Tennessee.
My neighbor, RIP, advised me if I EVER had to defend myself against any of that crew or the owner, to make sure I took ALL of them out and to call him, heād take care of the rest. Means exactly what you imagine it does.

I remember when the college boys would get summer construction jobs b/c they paid so well. Not so now.
But maybe that will change again - passed two constructions sites in my neighborhood yesterday and both were quiet, not a person working on either property.
