His pain is his condition. The money doesn’t make up for the pain it causes to the person and those around them at times.

Th relative of mine was diagnosed with Aspergers and ADHD. Was given all kinds of behavioral drugs to try to regulate it.

Would cause mood swings and outbursts.

Actually, I know a friend of my fathers who had it too. He would like something like Iphones and he would buy 5 at a time. He made a lot of money because he was smart. Many just considered him weird and would make fun of him.

He had a son who was needing a kidney and he gave him the kidney. (He would give people all kinds of things.) Years later the Aspergers dad died from a heart condition. They could not pump the water from him quick enough.

No need to mea culpa. I have a very dear friend who uses “then” for “than” religiously, but we went to the same grade school together, and I know she wasn’t taught it that way at school. I absolutely never correct her, because she was probably corrected by our teachers thousands of times, and it never changed how she uses it. It’s just a part of who she is.

Musk is autistic. They lash out at times, especially when frustrated. This call to immediate action is why some high functioning autistic types are leaders.

He has not bee rejected or burned by DJT — that is just more MSM lies. He is, first and foremost, a business man. today you are up, tomorrow not.

Trump has failed to denounce the Refugee Convention, which he has the unilateral power to do.

He has pardoned scumbags.

He has failed to work with Congress.

The overtime tax exemption is unfair to 50-hour/week salaried workers and should be dropped.

There’s no reason Mr. Salaryman should pay more tax than Mr. Clockpuncher does on the same income.

What is the theme of this rant?

Little digs throughout

“This is like voting for a Great White Shark, saying, “Why don’t you care that he eats baby seals?“

A great white does nothing but eat, sleep and make little sharks. Hooper said that. Trump is not a great white shark.

Journalist have to get out from behind their hatred to pretend they like this in order to sound relevant. Sane. It’s difficult. Did she dust off her pink hat to put it on to write this?

“The flaws are part of the deal.” Even Bannon does this. Stop. Please. At least Bannon HAS to I guess to not be accused by these people of being in a cult.

“I am not in the “Trump cult.” There isn’t a “Trump cult.”

No. There is not

There isn’t a “Trump cult.” Some people are fiercely loyal and protective of him because they watched him almost get shot in the head on live television.”

No. That is not why. It would help to talk to someone who voted for him. Pretend they’re too hard to find but it was the biggest popular vote in history I think. They’re out there. Easier to find than someone who voted for Biden. Well not in manhattan I suppose

“A cult would mean everyone takes the vaccine when Trump says to take it. That didn’t happen. A cult means everyone is commanded to obey and comply - that’s true on the Left, not the Right. A cult pushes a singular ideology everyone must believe — true on the Left, not the Right.”

Trump told us early on. In March, to take hydorchlorothiazide and ivermectin. No one listened to him actually. I have to fight with my liberal, pretend conservative military wives friends on this and impose. They walk away. They don’t respond to the documented press release posts I send them. They love to hate on Trump.

“Because I care more about ending “gender affirming care” and biological men playing in sports.”

Why are women allowing this? Why are women turning to men, to Trump, on this. Men don’t break up bar fights between men- they mightbjoin in- they sure as heck aren’t going to break up women’s fights. Women need to stop this if they say they can run the world better than men. Better than Trump. Otherwise they get no credit that’s life. Old it be that there’s a flaw in their leadership ability? This is a big flaw. An unforgivable one

“I care about how the billionaire class has gutted America and the reliance on slave labor overseas”

Lady, the slave labor is here. Read from the democrat pol from Vermont this past week on how the immigrants can’t leave She’ll have no one to wipe her ass. That’s an exaggerated metaphor for what’s happening. From the mouth of a dem

“they watched him almost get shot in the head on live television.”

Did she watch this? He DID get shot in the head.

She goes on to say something which I think is the point of this piece but she introduces it at the end, after swiping diligently at Trump-

“In the case of Musk, I think it’s personal. He feels abandoned by Trump“

Did Musk say this? Or is life in the hate Trump cult such that they assume this?

“The Left destroyed his Tesla brand. They called him a Nazi. They burned his cars. Advertising plummeted on X. On top of that, Trump got rid of the EV mandate (I think). So yeah, he feels burned.”

She was on Musk felt abandoned by Trump. Now it’s ’oh, also the left did actually burn him’. Could she say that the left abandoned Musk? Or that Musk felt abandoned by Musk? She doesn’t want to go that far

“He still crossed the line when he said Trump was in the Epstein files.”

This is just required statement. Covered around the camouflage of. ‘Er er well. He really wasn’t there’

“he’s still the richest man in the world. Hard to feel too sorry for him.”

Ok. Musk has no humanity because, after all, he’s a rich guy. Is that what she means?

Is this the point of the article?

Trump burned Musk but not as badly as the Left did, and I want to scramble for some journalistic credibility so I’ll say it but I’ll have to sneak it into the last paragraph of a slam Trump and his supporters piece

That’s what I’m getting.

Why don’t I care? Because I care more about ending “gender affirming care” and biological men playing in sports. I like that Trump is strong enough to face all of this down and try to do something about it in the short time he has in office.””

It’s a clear case of “the good, the bad and the ugly”. You support the man because the good has, thus far, vastly outweighed the bad (his naivete re: staffing choices) and the ugly (his blunt comments that were best left unsaid). As long as that remains the case... his support will continue to prevail and even grow.

“This is a refreshing article.”

It’s the left’s version of how they can see for a second one or two points in trump’s positive side. But no more than that and mixed in with a lot of digs at him on their way to a thesis in the final paragraph - for which I’d have sent it back to a ninth grader for a re write

Slave labor overseas (as if we’re not employing slave labor here- importing it in), and save us damsels in distress from men in the locker rooms and in our games

That’s what she can say positively about Trump here. Her reasons for not criticizing him. She passively criticizes him throughout the article

“his naivete re: staffing choices”
Who’s being naive? Why did he make those particular choices and how did they turn out?

“his blunt comments that were best left unsaid.”
Like what? This is an opinion. I have no problem with his comments

Really? You haven’t been paying attention if you have to ask. Past staffing choices of those that leaked, betrayed and turned against him. This has been discussed to death right here on this forum. As for comments, one comment recently made...that apparently set Musk off...

“Trump said he’d had a good relationship with Elon but made clear he didn’t feel like he needed him, either during the election or now.

It appears Musk was watching. He posted a string of tweets opposing the bill, then went for Trump personally for the first time since allying with him last year.”

Thai forum is very informative I peruse the headlines and read comments. I see what people are thinking I go not by what I read on the forum but by what I see happening.

Name one appointment that has turned out in the end to ruin the country or ruin Trumps chances of being in the White House

You can’t

If you’re talking about appointments who have made life uncomfortable, making you apologize for Trump -try to quit apologizing
If you’re talking about how Trump makes you worry that there’s something wrong with his judgement that’s too bad. Try, again, looking at those appointments and how it all turned out. Where are they now

This is not about promising the American people comfort and serenity. That’s not in the constitution

“As for comments, one comment recently made...that apparently set Musk off...”

Why would I care about that? Musk was not elected. I didn’t vote for him. What do I care if Trump’s honesty doesn’t sit right with him. What’s his position? Permanent donor? That’s not an official position

It could indeed be kabuki theater for all we know. I don’t think it changes much, but gives certain people a lot to talk about.

Then give your logic. What was the outcome of these terrible appointments? What in particular was so wrong about them?

You’re not a cultist who just goes along and repeats the latest criticisms without consideration of what Trump is actually doing

I’d bet it is and if I didn’t know better I’d say it’s a Bill Watts storyline lol. Since the heel-turn, there’s been a lot of hype about Musk starting another political party to take on the Ds and Rs. Since he’s “against” Trump, that would split the Ds more than it would the Rs and potentially be the stake through the heart of the Ds they may never recover from.

I know the simplest answer is the best (two egos ate their Wheaties), but there’s just a feel to this that isn’t legit.

Unsold Teslas:

MtnClimber: "I wonder if the Trump-Musk quarrel is just kayfabe."

No name given: "I hope that’s all it is."

To me, the whole kerfuffle seems obvious -- Musk is getting killed by Democrat buyers of his Tesla cars, and he needs some way to get back into their good graces.

How better to appeal to Democrats than by picking a fight with Pres. Trump?

And Musk does have a genuine beef -- he wants Congress to restore EV tax credits for his Telsa EVs.
So that's the reason for all the fuss, imho.

Now Musk wants to make peace again, but Trump is not so willing.
For certain, Trump does not want Musk to start supporting Democrat candidates in 2026, but likely all of that will get settled in "one big beautiful deal" between Musk & Trump at the appropriate time, I'd guess.
