I remember fifty seven years ago when someone tried to get the submerged lands classified at “his” property with him as ruler. He called it “Aqualandia” He was on the Joe Pyne Show back in 1968. They even sang the Aqualandia National Anthem.
I remember seeing those books in paperback back in 1968-1969 at the book stores. What a hoot! Le-MU-ria.

There certainly needs to be more underwater research of inundated coastal regions - of this site as well - but hyping it as the Post is doing isn’t helping anyone. It’s rather ‘national enquirer’-like.

I read those books in high school back in ‘71, except I had the paperbacks. When I saw this story it was the first thing I thought of.
