What do you think of Nachoman’s magnetic alighnment test?

Since I was writing from memory, I hope my aging brain didn’t impose any serious errors. I was basing this off an episode of “America Unearthed” starring Scott Wolter. He used this method to determine if the the “rock wall” for which Rockwall, Texas is named is man made or not. I hope our esteemed geologists on FR will provide any necessary corrections.

A magnetic alignment test would be very worthwhile. It will likely show that not only do the stones share magnetic alignment, but that they can also be dated with some accuracy since the earth's polarity has flipped several times.

It would be interesting to see when the stones solidified enough to retain magnetic polarity; were they pushed upwards in a semi-molten state before toppling and moving sideways, or did they solidify enough when moving sideways?

I don't picture them cascading like logs down a river before getting stacked against the earth, but who knows?
