Yeah it does look like a retaining wall but I think that drone also caught a natural rock formation. Doesn't seem to connect to the wall. Maybe what's left of their quarry. Lighter in color though.

There’s a 45 minute walk-thru video of someone walking the trail to the wall. Interesting stuff - looks man-made to me, but what do I know?
