Dutch men voluntarily served in the SS. 34th SS Grenadier Division "Landstorm Nederland".

Among other battles, they defended the Netherlands during the Allied failed Operation Market Garden.

Dutch also served in the 23rd "Nederland" and the 5th "Wiking"
