Formula did babies NO favors.

I often wonder if I’d have the food intolerance issues I have now if I had been breast fed.

Nope, they put me on formula I puked up all the time.

Interesting reply. I’m lactose intolerant and was forced to drink milk as a kid (until around 16 or so) because it was good for me. It caused digestive issues I will not mention, but the effect was I was skinny and small and could not gain weight. I was also a sickly child and attribute this to milk.

Once leaving home I gained weight and muscle mass. I grew up in an era where lactose intolerance was practically unheard of. Today I can’t stand the sight of milk and want to smack any jerk that says there’s a drug to take so I can drink the crap. More power to those who like it, I’m not one of them.

I’m of the belief we were meant to start out on breast milk then graduate to solids such as meat. I really don’t think cow’s milk was intended for us by nature.
