On X a post claimed this one man was responsible for 9 % of TOTAL serious crimes in Birmingham in the last year. I was skeptical of it but Google said 144 murders occurred there in 2023, so I guess it possible.
Classic example of how a small % of our population commits most of the violent crime.

If those were murders for hire then the perp had help, didn’t he.

RE: a post claimed this one man was responsible for 9 % of TOTAL serious crimes in Birmingham
On Law and Order SVU, at his going away dinner for the Richard Belzer character Detective Munch he said “When I first came from Baltimore to New York my partner Fin Tutuola told me every two minutes and ten seconds a man assaults a woman. I told him: ‘Fin, we’ve gotta find this guy.”

It’s also a classic example why mollycoddling murderers when they should be executed within hours of their convictions results in the murder of more victims.

Murder for hire. That deserves a special kind of death sentence. Don’t know what that would be, but I hope it’s painful and lasts at least one day of pain for each victim.

This psycho killer will get the best lawyers, paid by anti-death penalty NGOs, that are Federally funded out of Washingtoon DC. The kind of high paid lawyers that can delay his execution 20 years.
This is my guess.
The man who shot at FDR and Mayor Anton Cermak (killed) was tried and executed within 33 days

His defense will be that he had a rough childhood with his father beating him with a strap. And that he was on drugs when he killed.

The question is how many bad guys did he kill saving the justice system from having to prosecute and incarcerate them?
