This is going to be an interesting race. I honestly do not know what to make of Vivek. I know l would not want to take him on in a debate. Yost is probably dreading that one.
A governors race is a better laboratory for a new face than one for the WH-less at stake. Vivek’s future in politics had to start lower. The POTUS race saved him the trouble of running for a house seat or state assembly. That would suggest that going by the numbers is beneath him but he’ll ‘settle’ for the governorship. Be careful.
High profile candidates. Remember Ollie North running for the senate? Too toxic. Same with Katherine Harris of the Florida recount 2000. Those seats are lost for 6 years.
