It’s not a matter of race. It’s a matter of class.
Having worked in Brooklyn it is stunning to witness the hostility between English speaking Caribbean blacks and native American blacks. There are definitely cultural differences which don’t mesh. Despite the legacy of slavery and indentured servitude in both groups, the Caribbean blacks have bought into and accepted the essence of British culture. American blacks for their own reasons remain bitter, marginalized and many reject the prevailing values of American whites. Many self abuse with drugs, alcohol and embrace decadence ( as do many neo pagan whites). Its not a good situation.
