Can you buy 1,3-butanediol (BD) or a ketone ester (KE) for personal use?

1,3-Butanediol has safety warnings and should be used with caution.

When I go the keytone route, I prefer my body to produce keytones rather than use supplements. However, the supplements ease the transition from glucose to keytones by eliminating the ketone flue and sugar withdrawal symptoms. So I only take them for a week or two.

The other reason is that I want to lower my glucose levels rather than just supplementing keytones on top of them. You must remove the sugar and carbs to naturally produce keytones.

I combine a keto diet with intermittent fasting. I found it works better for me.

At the same time I’m taking Serrapeptase, Nattokinase and Bromelain to detox and heal. They dissolve dead protein so they work against the keto diet.

I’m learning and always welcome comments and suggestions from those who have already been there done that.
