People who deny the existence of God, or a Creator of some sort have nothing.
Nothing to live for, nothing to die for, nothing to be moral about, nothing to be considerate about, nothing to love and nothing to hate. Just pure nothingness.
It must be a miserable existence.
Exactly.
I believe in God but I know some pretty happy, successful and well rounded people who don’t.
I believe in the Christian God.
That ain’t a cure all to life’s problems.
Many times, they seem happier than most Christians I know.
And I notice a whole lot of Christians lose their religion when it matters most...like when they are happy fires are breaking out or terrible crimes are being committed in a liberal city and get happy about it.
When COVID came, I can’t count the number of Christians I knoew that were ready to END A PERSON if they came near them, family included...and on and on.
Just obvservations
It’s called nihilism. Jean Paul Sartre and Albert Camus were adherents but both became Christians before their deaths.
