That is correct unless they faked the studies, THEY DID! I am looking forward to Pfizer, Moderna, and Astra sued into oblivion. Their other great work will continue under new owners after they are sold at bargain basement price.
I am a pharmacist now retired. When those great pharmaceutical companies published something we took it as the truth without question. Most of the time it was the truth, but sometimes they lied. They must now bear the burden of their lies.
