And Walt made money by catering to families with a mix of entertainment. The 20,000 leagues under the sea ride took about 20 minutes. Most rides today are over in 1-3 minutes tops. Movies were humorous with a moral that had good vanquishing evil. And the wonderful world of Disney was about unambiguous stories, good cinematography, and an appreciation of America. Not today’s Disney
