For example he was for gay marriage long before Barky and the Hildabeast were.

Sure he’s an economic conservative. That’s because it works and he has in effect said so.

So Trump's tent is pretty wide.

The challenge for Trump's successor in 2024 is to hold his coalition together. The base of the Republican is socially conservative but the average American voter is socially liberal.

Trump's strategy was to redirect from the abortion issue and it worked. The Left wanted to make it all about abortion but they've failed.

I don't think he's "for it", as much as he likely thinks it is just a distraction that gets in the way of more important issues.

A lot of libertarians are like that.
