Whoever it was I’ll give him one thing......he had some big stones to jump out of a jet, much less in those conditions AND at night.....or he was just complete lunatic.

I was involved in a JUMP INTO THE NEW YEAR midnight event, with no injuries but some damaged pride.
One locked in on a local campfire far from our DZ fire and walked about a mile to find a surprised New Year’s party.
Another was hung up in a tree... his feet were only about three feet above the ground??? When questioned as to why he didn’t slide down on the reserve, he said he didn’t want to pull the reserve. (They are packed by a rigger)
All claimed to be unimpaired, but people talk.
