I have spent countless hours trying to figure out knife laws in various states I have lived in, and get the impression that no one is truly 100% sure of what they are, not lawyers, not cops, no one.

You read the knife laws for your state, do your best, and you take your chances, hoping that some cop won’t cause you expensive problems whether he is right or wrong.
