I thought Gowdy was all hat and no cattle too, but someone correctly pointed out that he had a very uncooperative DOJ that just refused to take the findings of the House investigations to the next level. He didn’t retire to a high-paid swampy law firm like many/most do, so I want to think that he’s being held in the wings for something he would be very good at. He demonstrated he was an excellent prosecutor before he entered Congress. He may have been in the right place in Congress but at the wrong time, so I’m not writing him off yet.
IMO, Gowdy’s letting HRC slide on being under oath when she testified about Benghazi screams Deep State. I do not trust him.
Did Gowdy ever reveal why he left Congress so abruptly? Sometimes he seemed on point, and other tines he was slobbering all over the FBI.
