I’m with you. It’s been 20 months for me and I still can’t make it through a church service without crying. We’ll make it, but having your heart torn out doesn’t heal quickly. Just know you’re not alone and the Lord holds us close because He knows our sorrow.

I am hurting for you, and there isn’t anything to make the heartache go away.

No words can take it away. We can escape for a while, and get some relief for a bit, but the loss is always deep inside, and that never goes away.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my wife of 30 years 10 years ago. I still miss her every day. The pain eases with time.
