These guys that get caught 40 or 50 years later are usually at death’s door anyway already

...He can still suffer in prison for 20 or 30 years... This is in California - if he's convicted, the state will probably get him a free sex change/cosmetic surgery, release him on parole, buy him a beach house, and send him reparation checks every month...
