Wow, invasion of the eastern US begins. Five Guys is going to have to deploy defensive troops.

Look forward to trying In-N-Out burgers.

Five guys will lose the battle with In N Out. Not even close. I just hope they open a location in North Alabama. Whalburgers didn’t last 2 years here. We have Whataburger, but they suck.

Very good standard burgers. Everything is fresh. Fresh potatoes for French fries. Freshly cut onions. I like their milk shakes. Lots of customers. A relatively long wait.
However, if you can cook, you can make as good or better burger, with fresh ingredients, on your own instead of waiting 10-15 minutes in your car or at the counter for your meal.
If there is no line(very rare), they’re better than most fast food burgers. IMHO

Stupid middle Tennessee burger trivia: I live on the west coast and the cost of living is supposedly MUCH MUCH higher here than in my native Nashville area, but when talking to a friend about the cost of a burger at 5 guys, we discovered that it’s actually cheaper HERE on the west coast. It was about a $2 difference on a burger here to there.

If In N Out shows up with “reasonable” prices, they could put a real hurt on 5 guys.
