In that the family suffers knowing this piece of pi$$-poor protoplasm gets to live on the public dole in jail until such time as a Soros-appointed DA/parole board releases him early back into the general public.
The cruelty being that we, the taxpayers, wage-earners have to pay for the perp’s existence/subsistence - housing, food, shelter, medical care - until such time as he expires or is released upon which time we will have to suffer the likelihood of him victimizing society again.
The death penalty is far kinder.
One trial, one appeal, choice of method - Kevorkian IV, firing squad, nitrogen, fentanyl OD, hanging, old sparky, I don’t care and I’d be happy to start the IV or get on the firing line to service lady justice.
