HD backing off it's stance on certain unpopular social programs can be considered a small victory, but the war is far from over.
The Motor Companies board has been systematically destroying its own market reach and potential ever since it took over back in 2007, and now it's time for the end game to begin.
Removing manufacturing from the US, and eliminate the internal combustion engine from its lineup as early as 2030 are the objectives here, and the current CEO, Jochan Zietz, who proclaims himself to be the Taliban Of Sustainability, is on a personal mission to make that happen.
It's not really over until he and his fellow zealots are fired and sent back to the dark swamps they came from.
Self-acclaimed “Taliban” association is telling.
Itβs like destroying the NFL. Itβs American.
hardley davidson...
Jochen Zeitz seems to disagree

Every @harleydavidson rider is going to want to see this. It sure sounds like CEO Jochen Zeitz admits that he took the Harley job because it was an opportunity to transform an American icon into embracing wokeness and DEI.
As for US simple folk...
βI donβt want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers.β β John D Rockefeller
βIn our dream we have limitless resources, and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hand. The present educational conventions fade from our minds; and, unhampered by tradition, we work our own good will upon a grateful and responsive rural folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or of science. We are not to raise up among them authors, orators, poets, or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians. Nor will we cherish even the humbler ambition to raise up from among them lawyers, doctors, preachers, statesmen, of whom we now have ample supply.β β Frederick T Gates
Who in the hell runs Harley Davidson? Most of their customers are conservatives.
Yamaha approves. They make a good bike but it aint a Harley.
“Who in the hell runs Harley Davidson?”
A rich commie climate change idiot.
The old bikers with the big white beards call it “Harwee Davwooson” now.
I have a motorcycle endorsement on my Hawaii drivers license.
I quit riding as have many others because we got tired of bad Hawaiian drivers trying to kill us all the time.
I preferred the Gold wing, very quiet, powerful and reliable.
I viewed Harleys as my fathers generation toy and I wanted reliable transportation. I used to commute in WA state 65 miles a day on my Gold wing and only stopped when roads were icy.
Hardly Abelson.
tooo much???
Oh my, that was freakin awesome!
IKR??? but tooo much??? 8^)
.
The are turning Harley Hogs into electric scooters. Thank goodness for Indian.
What an idiot. Destroy something you already own because the company that built it many years before has now done something wrong.
This hurts H-D how?
Makes as much sense as buying up all the Bud Light and pouring it down the drain so no one else drinks it.
Too late. HD committed brand suicide when it appointed a European globohomo America hating CEO. I hope they go bankrupt and get flushed down the DEI sewer where they belong.
And just the other day I had a visitor to my shop who had sleeve tattoos with HD logos up and down. Inside I was laughing. I was thinking to myself how long until he tattoos Dylan Mulvaney next to the HD logo.
I lived on Oahu many years. I too have a motorcycle license. I couldn’t imagine riding a motorcycle on that insane place. It was dangerous enough just to walk. I lived in Lani Kai. I dreaded, hated, when I had to go to “town.” Some of the worst drivers I had ever seen. There is a reason for the “Asian driver” stereotype.
