Yeah, I got turned on to NAC by my doctor when I was diagnosed with Covid and mentioned to him during that visit that I seem to have a bit of chronic bronchitis. Nothing that makes me feel sick or really short of breath. Just somewhat restricted breathing it seems. He told me to take 1250mg of NAC daily and it has really helped. IIRC, he said I could safely take more but I cannot remember how much more.
With that said, I don't think I have ever heard the liver benefits for NAC.

With most of these supplements they should be taken with Vitamin C it allows for solubility
