That linked blog post is dated 2021, though. So, I’m still wondering about the Johnny somebody’s X post with the man reading a (supposed) “Speech from 1959.” - Content aside, I was asking who gave/wrote THAT speech in 1959.
I don’t know if this is the one you are thinking of, but on Jan. 10, 1963, the Hon. A.S. Herlong, Jr. (FL), read into the Congressional Record of the House of Represenatives the 45 Goals of the Communist Party, an excerpt taken from “The Naked Communist” by Cleon Skousen. Almost all accomplished. 🤬
