That’s the only thing that will stop this perversion.
But I can sympathize with a real woman who chooses to fight. You’ve trained for 10 years. All your hopes and dreams come down to this moment. And you’re not getting any younger. Perhaps it’s worth a roll of the dice.
Let’s say an Olympic rule was slanted against black people. The whole world would be in uproar. But nobody cares much when a rule is slanted against real women. That’s the tragedy here.
My comment here is intended to be wider than just the Olympics, but it fits for the Olympics as well:
Women in the work place ... don't get the raises, don't get the promotions, don't get the nice office, don't get the awards, don't get the respect because THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES.
Being bitchy and engaging in social bullying and gossip is not at all the same thing -- but that seems to be all they can manage. Stand up for yourself, take the small losses but establish boundaries and let people know: YOU CAN'T TREAT ME LIKE THAT.
Men do it all the time. Females just can't. Men walk all over them. And men SHOULD. If you refuse to stand up for yourself, then you get what you get. Sucker.
