There's been a dramatic push by the legacy media to neutralize one of Vice President Kamala Harris' biggest vulnerabilities since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee: her longstanding "border czar" label.
Harris was widely dubbed the "border czar" after President Biden tasked her in March 2021 to address the root causes of mass migration from Central and South America. While the Biden administration has rejected the title, the term was widely used by her critics and even embraced by multiple news organizations, at least until she ascended to the top of the ticket.

It seems as if the MSM either expected her to be a great success in this job, and as such they wanted to get out in front of it. Or they expected her to fail miserably, and wanted to document it.
Why would they want the latter? They KNEW Joe was failing and useless, and they needed Kamala to look more incompetent by the minute, thus fortifying her value as the anti-25th insurance policy.
I think we all know, but few will say out loud , that the Democrats are in favor of open borders.
Biden reversed Trump border policies, such as the remain in Mexico policy for Asylum Seekers.
And then periodically, we see various Democrats saying that we have a broken immigration system , and blame Republicans for not passing legislation with them to deal with immigration policy.
The chaos at the Border has nothing to do with the alleged problems with our immigration system. In fact we have a very generous illegal immigration system. Liberals refuse to enforce our immigration laws , and then say, look at the chaos we have a broken immigration system.
I’ve never understood why liberals insist on conflating illegal aliens, with legal immigrants, who go through our legal immigration process to immigrate to America.
I’ll bite. She was not the Border Czar. She was appointed to find diplomatic solutions by analyzing root causes. Fine:
1. What were the root causes she examined?
2. What were her findings?
3. What were her recommendations?
And, special bonus question:
4. Why has no report of her efforts been announced or published?
Even if the media want to bury her role, there are still people who remember who can keep keep the memory alive and make her own it. She was proclaimed “czar”, put off going to the border, finally went to the El Paso airport, and that’s as close as she got. As I recall, she avoided the responsibility because she didn’t want to take the blame for the mess. That’s our mighty Vice President, the “border czar.”
Yes I see all over the place that the media reported that she was and still is the Border Czar. But nowhere do I see a direct quote from the White House designating her as such.
So this is how the lying media can now lie and say she never was.

heh... Yeah she was definitely put in charge of the border as ‘Border Czar’ that’s for certain. However there’s not any evidence that she fulfilled any part of that role. Maybe she did not get the memo.
Just like john kerry was for the $87 billion before he was against it, kalamity harris was the border czar before she wasn’t.....
