Van Jones is not “reporting honestly.” He was given his marching orders and repeated what he was told to say just as in the past. He never strays off the plantation. His “reporting” was for the right’s consumption and was offset with Olberman’s stance so those on the left could side with Keith and dismiss Van. The entire exchange is to lull both sides back to sleep. So far, working as planned.

I’ve never really watched that before but I saw you brought it up so I briefly looked at it. It seemed to me that the cohosts were trying to avoid arguing with one another. The guy was trying to gently explain to the woman why Biden would have to leave. She responded by saying that the Democrats would regret doing that. She looked like she was about to cry.
