never say the “expiration date” of the puts

there are generally a series of expiration dates available in the put markets

the time value of money comes into play when determining the price of the put contract as it relates to today’s live market price for the underlying security.

the premium can range from small to large percentage of the put contract price.

short expiration dated puts that would exprire friday would carry less time value than longer dated put contract that may not expire for a week, a month or even several months.

the bigger risk reward put would have been ATM than would expire tomorrow.

that was the owner of the owner of the put contract would have a 1:1 ratio of drop in selling price with little or no time value

but again, I never saw any info on strike price or expiration date on the austin puts
