Halal chicken is poultry that follows Islamic law. It means that Muslims must kill the bird humanely, and they must drain all the blood from the meat. A Muslim cleric oversees the slaughtering and preparing of chicken to ensure that it meets all of the requirements.
Years ago when Subway started serving a rmamdan meal, I stopped purchasing there. I will not support a business in the US that caters to terrorist groups. Since KFC doesn’t concern thiemselves with the country they were allowed to start their multi billion dollar business in, then they can just go broke here.
They have other compeition with businesses like Church’s, Popyeye’s, White Castle, Chic-fil-a, and a feew local chicken servers in a sit down restaurant format. I don’t need KFC, they need me and others like me.
And the stupid part of the determination is they are not going to find enough clerics to oversee each of the chickens for the halal process. Another liberal style feel good bill.
