When I was 16, I went out for dinner with my family at a restaurant we liked. It was during the Dem National Convention in Chicago. As we walked into the dining room, there sat JFK and Jackie. JFK gave me that interested look and Jackie looked like she wanted to kill me. If he’d ever approached me, my dad would have killed him.

BTW, my dad had an interesting political philosophy: “Whoever’s in office, vote them out before they get their hands on your billfold.”

Jackie knew what was on Jack’s mind when he was checking you out. Some people say she knew she married a philanderer..

My dad told me he had a date with one of the Kennedy sisters. (I don’t recall which) He said she scared him!
