Have watched the movie every July 4 for many years. Started with our kids, and now they’re sharing with their kids. Full disclosure, I played John Adam’s in my elementary school’s production of the play back in the day. Way back in the day.
Adams…I loathe auto correct.
When I was in High School, we went on a field trip to see this movie in Philadelphia for our History Class.
Sadly, non of us were mature enough to appreciate it.
As I do now.

We were fortunate enough to see the play done professionally in a Philly theater when we lived in PA., and the movie we’ve watched too many times to count.
We actually learned history from this marvelous show well after high school and college.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS MOVIE.
Never get tired of watching it. Should be shown in schools yeah, in my dreams..
Watched it today on TCM.
Yes, watched it last year; this year we are watching Sons of Liberty.
I saw it done live in Chicago. I always remember the intensity of the song concerning the slave trade. It was something when experienced live.
