I’ve camped more than 99% of the population, and my tact was to go to remote places.
People that tell Bigfoot stories often say they could tell by the walk, from inside a tent, that it was a Bi-pedal animal. They’re better people than me, because I could usually say large or small animal, or multiple animals, but I couldn’t tell you how many feet they had.
Bears are notorious for not giving up on food, and returning and returning - in a given night.
Everyone makes fun, but I guarantee you I can take you to places where you’d be scared at night. Swamps at night, for one. I stayed at an informal Campground, let’s say, in a Swamp for three nights and didn’t see another person for three days. I later read a guy was found dead in that informal campground area, and when they found him in his tent, he was bones.
That Swamp had some weird calls.
