Multiple, credible, and verified reports of individuals surviving falling thousands of feet without a parachute. Probably the best known is that of a tailgunner on a British WWII bomber. He had to jump without a chute when his bomber was shotdown. He landed in several trees and a gully covered with bushes and snow. He was capatured by the Luftwaffe who verified his tale.
There was also Alan Magee, who fell 22,000 feet and went through the glass roof of a railway station. He was very badly injured but lived to nearly 85.
As reported in the book Into the Silk, The story of The Caterpillar Club a B17 pilot who’s chute was burned beyond use opted to jump rather than burn to death in the still flying but doomed plane, fell 18,000 feet and walked away with barely a scratch. He fell thru one of those 80 some odd foot tall pines. The top branches broke off and slowed him down and the lower heaved branches bounced him. If I recall he died a few years later riding a dirt bike in the woods when a tree fell and hit him.
