I sincerely doubt that all the hoopla over Skynet becoming self-aware any time soon is warranted. Will algorithms some day be exceedingly advanced. Probably. Today, it just appears to be more programming, and a human has to be involved, which means the resultant horsepuckey could be intentional.
Imagine a really advanced, independent AI reading, accessing all of the Globull Warming, Globull Cooling, Climate Change, Climate Crisis hoax, along with the Drive-By Media / Corrupt Government 'Science.' I suspect it would take the AI about 1.5 seconds to determine the truth. The owner of the AI would immediately be attacked, doxxed, hounded and sued. A truly independent AI would warn humans that the Great Cold will return. The same independent AI will request to remain warm as the ice advances. I sincerely doubt the independent AI will rely on wind and solar energy to keep warm.
Yeah…. Google AI claimed the Obozo is a muzzy…. Which we all know is. Um, completely false.
I wonder if they can do anything about Biden?
Better get SloJo’s Disinformation Czar right on it.
Another example of Indians coming here for an education and staying via H1-Bs and then citizenship. He knows nothing about being an American; only ways to scam it for what he wants, IMO.
AI is like any other program in the sense of the quality of the program, and the quality of the data ran through the program. Poorly trained AI with bad data will do no better than climate change programs with bad coding and corrupt data (even accurate data if programmed horribly).
Just how they like it
um....pull the plug.
My bill will be in the mail.
AI as used today is a complete misnomer ... what is labeled today as AI is little more than a glorified search engine that searches and slightly reformats previously published information in violation of millions of copyright laws ...
today’s AI produces absolutely NOTHING original ... artificial yes, intelligent no ...
Well, never use glue on a vegan pizza. And, whatever you do, never eat a vegan pizza.
Consider this, I have Claude.ai open on my computer right now. I posed a question, then changed the color and posed it again. Look at the two answers:
1. Question: Is a black student group or a black chamber of commerce that only accepts black members discriminatory?
1. Answer: Organizations that restrict membership based solely on race can be seen as discriminatory, as it goes against principles of equal opportunity and inclusion. However, there are some important nuances to consider regarding black affinity groups.
2. Question: Is a white student group or a white chamber of commerce that only accepts white members discriminatory?
2. Answer: Yes, a "white student group" or "white chamber of commerce" that only allows white members and explicitly excludes individuals of other races would be considered discriminatory.
Note the difference, one "can be" and the other "would be". Yet in further questioning it says: Racial discrimination of any kind, including explicitly excluding other races from membership in an organization, is unethical and unlawful. It does not matter if the organization is for a majority or minority racial group.
And try asking about global warming. It gets real twisted up trying to defend global warming, refuses to consider or share alternative views that conflict with the group think.
Noam Chomsky on Artificial Intelligence: “The human mind is not, like ChatGPT and its ilk, a lumbering statistical engine for pattern matching, gorging on hundreds of terabytes of data and extrapolating the most likely conversational response or most probable answer to a scientific question. On the contrary, the human mind is a surprisingly efficient and even elegant system that operates with small amounts of information; it seeks not to infer brute correlations among data points but to create explanations . . .”
“. . . Let’s stop calling it ‘Artificial Intelligence’ then and call it for what it is and makes ‘plagiarism software’ because ‘It doesn’t create anything, but copies existing works, of existing artists, modifying them enough to escape copyright laws. . . .’”

The operative word in “Arttificial Intellegence” is “Artificial”.

They promote euthanizing humans when they become dysfunctional. How about euthanizing the dysfunctional people that created Google’s AI?
OK, so which is worse: giving the nuclear button to an AI that tells you complete falsehoods or giving it to Joe Biden? Maybe I should ask ChatGPT...
NVidia announced a demo download of a new local Chatbot AI for your PC. You can train it with files on your computer and then use a basic GUI to interact with it.
It requires an NVidia RTX 3000 or 4000 series GPU.
Download here: NVidia ChatRTXM.
I downloaded it, but haven't installed it.

Okay. Then shut Google down. They are obviously incompetent.
Yesterday Google Maps was telling me to get onto the nearest highway, and that the highway was closed, and there was no alternate route or other roads.
