I recently had one of the new Subway Italian subs (i dont remember which variation) I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of meat on it, good sub. Not Jersey Mikes, but more than acceptable.
I just had an Italian Combo sub [1/2 a grinder] from a shop near Bradley Airport in Ct. It was huge, almost 4” thick with varieties of meat ,cheese ,peppers, onions. I could only eat half of the half, best grinder ever. My jaw hurts from trying to open wide enough to get a bite. I can only go there occasionally because they are addicting , how they can make money on them I don’t know.
