I am not for massive mining extraction from the moon.

The earth-moon relationship, which has a lot of impact on quite a number of things on earth as we know it, is in part based on the gravitational pull of the moon in it’s earth orbit, which is a factor impacted by moon’s specific gravity, which is based on its mass. We should not be messing with the mass of the moon. Any measurable change to it can have unforeseen consequences on earth.

No amount of human activity, short of using some kind of superbomb or redirected asteroid to destroy it or a large part of it, will have any measurable change to the Earth-Moon relationship.
