Grillos Pickles are usually sold in a small plastic bucket.
The lid on that plastic bucket was so difficult for me to pry off, I just never bought that brand again. I had to use a flathead screwdriver to open the container. They should consider a simpler lid that looks the same, but screws on tight. Packaging design problem.

I grew the small pickling cukes...I though they’d never stop giving. Love cukes with sour cream and onions.

Did you break off the plastic tab? Once you’ve done that I find the lid to be pretty manageable. The tab is there to lock the lid during shipping.

Maybe the Grillos people are upholding the ancient tradition of pickle containers being hard to open?
