Anyone with intelligence emigrated from Ireland long ago. What is left and what has come in is indeed pitiful. Also the Catholic Church due to the perverted homosexual scandals has lost whatever moral influence it once had. The country has entered an era of neo pagan, hedonistic decadence.
The only Catholics left in Ireland are the Poles who moved there.
