Well that just makes me wish I worked for Delta so I could say “No, thank you.” to their ask. I would capitalize White as well and wait for them to sanction me. In the U.S., federal anti-discrimination law prohibits discrimination by employers against employees based on race, and I would remind Delta that making my race appear “lesser than” another through the written word discriminates against me as a White person. Of course, if I were less confrontational, I’d just write Caucasian instead of White. And if they protested against that and threatened sanctions for use of a somewhat-obsolete term, I’d capitalize every word. I’m feeling feisty today 😊
