I dont think many, myself included, truly realize how impactful this lawless era of immigration will be on our future.

Just 2 days ago I was reading the magazine— Legends of the West— and it has a chapter covering the westward expansion. The human movement had an enormous influence on the future of the country:
1. Led to the final battles with and submission of Indian power
2. Led to battles and great land grab with Mexico
3. Permanently changed the Flora and Fauna of about 60% of the USA. Converting vast prairies into farms and pasture in the process almost making the Buffalo herds extinct, reducing the vast clouds of locusts, replacing native grasses with imported ones changing every aspect of our native biome.
4. Settled western states like California, Oregon and many others
5. Gold, natural resources acquired
6. Developing railroads
7. Creating a West Coast “base’ which led to the possibility of acquiring Alaska.

This was all effected with…….1,600,000 TOTAL settlers moved by wagon trains, boats and later trains. 1.6 million. Almost over 75 years (1830s to early 1900s).

LOL

We have had 1.6 million illegal immigrants in the last 3 MONTHS. To be sure the population of the USA was far less then but I’d say the ratio will end up the same or even higher as numbers are much greater now.

There is no reason to think this human movement will not also have as great an impact. I would suggest , as the USA is already settled , developed, productive and peaceful, that this time the changes will be NEGATIVE. Instead of nation building we might very well be seeing a nation destroying event happening in front of our eyes.

Time will tell.
