Millennials have put off having children, so boomers are the oldest grandparents ever. Many millennial parents say they can't get the support they need from their parents.

I raised my family, now you raise yours...............
Ahh ... generational stereotyping. It’s a sure sign of a weak mind.
This is complete BS. I know MANY boomers who are raisinfg their grandkids.
All these millenials know what to do is whine and blame others.
No idea if there is any truth to this or not, what I do know is that we have become a society of victims, whiners, and sad sacks. Oh boo-hoo, this is tough. I’m so offended. I’m oppressed.
Good grief. What a bunch of sorry first-world panzies.
Awwww, that’s so sad. /s
The communists set out to destroy the family structure in the US, and succeeded.
For real.
Millennials are themselves the most babyish generation American has seen—until now that Gen Z is coming along.
When raising our son, we kept my retired WWII parents in a nearby house so they could participate in our lives. They both passed before he became a teenager, and before our adopted daughter became part of the home. The son chose to move many different places after leaving home, now in Canada (I’m in FL), unmarried, and childless. The daughter is living with me (wife passed three years ago), but it will be at least two years before she provides the first grandchild; I hope I live long enough to see, and well enough to enjoy the child(ren).
If they are still working they are hogging the jerbz. If they retire they are worthless takers. If they are around they are "toxic" parents who need to get their own lives. If they move away....
Yes, they can do no right.
“This is complete BS.”
I throughly agree.
Yea we lived three states away when raising our kid. Our parents never did one day of babysitter duty.
My parents didn’t raise my kids. My husband and I raised my kids. I never even considered my parents were supposed to help me raise my kids.
Except most baby boomers didn’t raise their children. They threw them into daycare and forgot their children existed, except for a couple of hours in the evening.
Lifelong skills that should have been passed down wasn’t and now these grown children are having to learn about parenting when nobody taught them.
I’m referring to the “boomer”, “millennial”, etc nonsense.
As though everybody born in a particular time frame thinks and acts the same ... It’s absurd.
The kids want their parents to raise a second family while the kids pursue their careers or deal with divorce. Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.
The leadership of the Boomers has been great for this country!!! /sarc
The proof is in the pudding. Boomers have ef’ed up this country.
Oh, good grief.
I’m a Navy brat. We were raised all over the world without our grandparents’ support. Our grandparents were the cool people we visited or who visited us from afar on occasion and it was always enjoyable. They were not put to work. They’d done their job.
Grow up, ‘lennials.
Um, I stayed home and raised my 3 boys and then went to work. I knew many just like myself who did the same.
Working parents didn’t start with the Boomer generation.
The problem is not millennials. The problem is wacko millennial women.
They believe all that crap they have been fed
